In
a letter dated 3/26/03 a client of Stevens Westmoreland wrote a letter of
testimony about her experience with PBSP which she has allowed us to quote here
anonymously:
Stevie,
When you
called and asked me to write about my psychomotor experience and whether it had
been helpful, I started thinking about the subtle changes I have been going
through since September.
Although my
sessions tend to be rather strong (an understatement), my emotional changes are
subtle, but very positive. For a
while it was 1 step forward, 2 steps back, but now, almost 8 months later, I’m
finding that the emotional roller coaster has stopped (most of the time).
Before when
a problem triggered my emotional response, it would be as if all my past trauma
would come out with no control. Now,
when problems arise, I’m able to distinguish between appropriate response and
over reaction. My pilot is on board
more often. My emotional response
to life is much more controlled and my anxiety is steadily lifting.
Thank you so
much for the new memories and the new “road maps”. I’m starting to open my eyes and my heart to life’s possibilities.
