The first is a ground-breaking public lecture that Albert Pesso delivered on the topic, "The Roots of Justice are in the Body" sponsored by the Psychology and Sociology Departments of the Univeristy of Osnabruck and the Catholic University in Osnabruck, Germany. The second is a spontaneous, live demonstration of an emotionally stirring therapy session with a volunteer from the audience. The topic and the therapy should be fascinating to everyone concerned with the state of family structure, human behavior and justice in the world. It will be of special interest to those in the helping professions -- psychologists, therapists, counselors, social workers, mental health workers and pastoral counselors. Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, Professor of Psychiatry at Boston University Medical School and a world expert on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, has said, "Over the past 40 years, Albert Pesso and Diane Boyden-Pesso have perfected an extraordinarily effective technique, PBSP (Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor), providing people with experiences that were missing during their growth and development. The artistry of Pesso’s ‘structure’ can be a unique and profoundly life-altering experience." Albert Pesso, formerly Consultant in Psychiatric Research at the Boston Veteran’s Administration Hospital and Director of Psychomotor Therapy at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts, has recently returned from an extended trip to Europe where he trains psychotherapists in PBSP as well as throughout the US. While in Freiburg, Germany, Albert Pesso gave a lecture on "The Roots of Beginning and the Routes of Becoming" for the public lecture series on Science and Spirituality at Freiburg University, considered the finest in Germany. The Franklin Opera House presentation should be very interesting. |
