BOOKS:  

Between Stress and Hope

Al Pesso wrote a chapter entitled "Cultivating the Seeds of Hope", which was published by Greenwood Publishing Group in the trauma book: Between Stress and Hope, edited by Rebecca Jacoby and Giora Keinan who are professors in the Psychology Department of the University of Tel Aviv, in Israel.  Rebecca has trained with Al during the period when he regularly taught in Israel and she has also attended several training workshops at Strolling Woods.

The Body in Psychotherapy

Albert Pesso has finished writing a chapter for a book edited by Halko Weiss, and Gustl Marlock. The book, currently named The Body in Psychotherapy, is composed of chapters written by prominent people in the Body Psychotherapy field worldwide today; it is sponsored by the EABP (European Association of Body-Psychotherapy).  Al’s chapter is tentatively titled Clarifying the Corrective Experience.

Halko Weiss is a licensed clinical psychologist, a Senior trainer for the Hakomi Institute in Boulder, Colorado; and the International Director of the Hakomi Institute of Europe in Heidelberg, Germany.  He also is the former coordinator for the ongoing PBSP® experiential workshops Al Pesso leads for Hakomi therapists in Heidelberg, Germany.

Gustl Marlock is a licensed clinical psychologist and a trainer for Unitive Psychology and the president of the German body-psychotherapy association (DGK).

 

ARTICLES:  

The Family Journal

Al Pesso and Diane Boyden-Pesso were interviewed by Marty Jencius and Jill Duba of Kent State University, for an article which has been published in the January 2003 issue of the Family Journal, which is the Official Journal of the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors (IAMFC) A two part interview with Albert Pesso, by Jan Dragin and Barbara Goodrich has already been half published in the Newsletter of the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy.  The interview is about Al’s use of PBSP® in the corporate environment.
