Short Report from Albert Pesso on the two lectures which took place in Prague, the Czech Republic
The Dec. 2nd, 2004 Lecture was for Institute for Development of Foster Care/Natama and the people in attendance were mainly foster parents, those who run foster care centers and therapists, The tickets were sold out early. 80 people filled the conference room at the hotel. The lecture was on the application of PBSP® concepts and principles to the foster parent population. It was video taped professionally and the recording of it will be given away by Natama to their foster care commuity. The PBSP® office will also receive the right to distribute this video. Dec 3rd, 2004 Lecture went very well with standing room only. Over 200 people were in attendance at the hall in a Unitarian Church in Prague . The topic of this lecture was looking at spirituality and its place in PBSP®. The applause at the end went on and on and on. Afterwards the mother of one of the coordinators expressed her impression of Al Pesso by saying: "Give my regards to the man from the planet of unbreakable energy". This lecture was also professionally videotaped and will be turned into a CD which the organization, Diabasis, will sell and allow the International PBSP® office to sell also. Short response from Petra Vrtbovska on the Foster Care Lecture of Dec 2nd:
"I will collect all responds and reviews for Al and I will e-mail it to him. So far all people were amazed and very happy with the lecture, including myself - I got really inspired for the future development and I will be back to Al with some ideas soon. I have just been doing some other training with foster carers who were at Al's lecture and we had time to reflect it in details. All were very impressed, just they were saying that it was rather brief and condensed, so they were not able to think so many things through properly in given limited time."
