join us for a daylong training
in how to use Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor Therapy* (PBSP®) and exercises when
working with addictions and eating disorders. PBSP® is a powerful form of body-based therapy that follows the core
energies of the client in order to restore balance and create new, lasting,
constructive forms of behavior. The
workshop will be divided into two three-hour segments. The morning will focus on
alcohol/drug addictions, and the afternoon session on strategies effective with
eating disorders. Presentations
will be both didactic and experiential, with concrete tools any psychotherapist
can use. A pre-workshop
orientation to PBSP® is offered, for therapists who want more basic training in
this modality, on the preceding Friday, October 10. An
in-house box lunch will be provided on Saturday so we can get to know each other

Al Pesso and Diane Boyden Pesso THE PRESENTERS: Gus Kaufman, Jr., Ph.D., senior certified
PBSP® therapist, supervisor, trainer, Atlanta, GA., has taught PBSP® around the
U.S., Europe, and Israel. Currently conducts supervision groups and therapy
using this method. Deborah Ann Wilbur, LCSW, BCD, CGP, certified
PBSP® Therapist, has been in private practice in Winter Park, FL for 19 years,
and has applied PBSP® in the treatment of eating issues for ten years. Rick Kilmer, Ph.D., Program Director for the
Atlanta Center For Eating Disorders. In practice as a therapist in Atlanta, GA
for over 15 years. Harriet Wall, M.Ed., L.P.C., therapist in
private practice in Roswell, GA., has used elements of PBSP® in her work with
addictions for years. Joel
Rachelson, Ph.D., therapist in
private practice in Atlanta, GA. Certified PBSP® Therapist. About SEPS(Southeastern
Psychomotor Society) Our goal is
to support and expand the use of PBSP® through gatherings, workshops, supervision
groups, and training groups. It is
